	Sign-In  Register            Ag Mechanics   The Agricultural Mechanics courses at Hallettsville HS are intended to introduce students to Shop Safety and basic Hand Tool and Machinery use.  Students will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on fabrication projects in the high school shop setting.  If students are FFA members they can participate in Agricultural Mechanics Shows around the state.   Project categories at some shows include Farm Equipment, Shop Equipment, and Trailers.  Students who want to construct their own project may do so with teacher approval depending upon the project.  Community members may sponsor some projects for the class to construct, exhibit, and deliver after show.  Students will be selected by the teacher for these projects based on ability and interest.                                If you are a community member interested in sponsoring a project please contact Mr. Ressler for more information.   We do not participate in the FFA Tractor Restoration Program.
